SEGA to Host Sonic Boom Event

SEGA has unveiled a star-studded lineup for the Sonic Boom fan event, which will be held in New York City Oct. 4.

The event will feature the voice cast from the "Sonic Boom" Cartoon Network TV series and upcoming video games including Roger Craig Smith (the voice of Sonic) and Colleen Villard (the voice of Tails).

The voice actors will perform a live TV show script reading and be available for meet-and-greets and autographs. Other meet-and-greet opportunities and autograph sessions will feature Sonic musicians and Japanese game producer and lead Sonic designer, Takashi Iizuka.

In addition to the special guests, the event will include musical performances and playable demos of "Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric" for WiiU and "Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal" for Nintendo 3DS, which will arrive on shelves in November.
