Kappa Sportswear has partnered with Vexed Gaming to provide the esports organization with tournament and casual wear.

Vexed Gaming is one of the U.K.’s leading esports organizations. It fields teams in “CSGO,” “Fortnite,” “Hearthstone” and “Apex Legends” tournaments. The new partnership with the organization marks Kappa’s official entry into the esports market.

“The esports and gaming community is full of passionate individuals who strive for personal excellence–something we at Kappa embrace in all we do,” says Joe Pilato, sports marketing executive, Kappa U.K. “These attributes are inherent to Vexed Gaming, and we are delighted to make our official entry into esports by supporting the aspirations and motivations of such a dynamic, motivated and talented organization.”

Kappa/Vexed teamwear and branded leisurewear will be unveiled and available for purchase in September. With Kappa’s deal, the fashion company joins a string of non-gaming brands looking to gain a foothold in the esports arena. A recent Nielsen report found that non-gaming brand involvement in esports grew by 13 percent over the past year.
