GLOBAL–The preschool app “Hopster” will recognize World Autism Awareness Day, April 2, with a curated selection of shows, games and books that promote understanding to young audiences.

Set to launch on Monday, an in-app area will include newly added “Sesame Street” books featuring Julia, the first “Sesame Street” Muppet with autism; content from “Punky,” the eponymous television character with Down syndrome; “Bino & Fino,” a Nigerian show about African culture; and the “Adventures of Zee,” a series that introduces children to Arab culture and language while exploring universal themes including teamwork and tolerance.

In addition, “Hopster” will promote Sense, its digital sensory playroom, with a collection of mini-games designed to comfort those with autism and sensory processing disorders.

The “Hopster” app is available via the App Store and Google Play.
