IMG, “Fortnite”’s licensing agent, brokered the deal.

The agreement will see Hasbro launch Monopoly: “Fortnite” Edition game and Nerf “Fortnite” blasters and accessories, among others.

“‘Fortnite’ has quickly become a cultural phenomenon with legions of players worldwide, many of whom are already searching for Nerf blasters to host their own ‘Fortnite’ battles,” says Jonathan Berkowitz, president, Hasbro Brands. “Through our collaboration with Epic Games, fans will now have the ability to experience the Battle Royale in all new ways, whether it’s the active and adventurous fun of a Nerf ‘Fortnite’ blaster battle or the exciting strategizing of playing Monopoly: ‘Fortnite’ with friends.”

Monopoly: “Fortnite” Edition is set to roll out at major retailers across the U.S. and U.K. this fall with additional markets slated for 2019. The Nerf “Fortnite” blaster and accessories, role play and additional licensed games, will debut next year as well.
