Disney Interactive Alum John Love Joins Roblox as VP of Business Development

Roblox has announced three new hires as its partnership team continues to grow. Disney Interactive alum, John Love, joins as vice president, business development, Roblox, and will be tasked with driving innovation on the platform, expanding its user base and developing new revenue streams for Roblox and its global creator community.

Love will oversee Roblox’s strategic global platform, connected device and app store partnerships.

Prior to Roblox, Love served as vice president, interactive experiences, Disney, building and launching innovative digital experiences to reach Disney fans in new ways worldwide and he had also oversaw apps and digital products for Disney Interactive. An accomplished product and technology executive with over 20 years of experience building and leading digital organizations and businesses, Love co-founded two innovative companies, SpotMixer and One True Media, that simplified video creation for consumers and businesses.

In addition, Lisa Willett has been appointed as head, travel, auto and financial partnerships and Allison McDuffee is the new global head, brand insights and measurement.
