King Features has announced a slate of international agents for its gaming property “Cuphead,” based on the animated brand of the same name.
New agents include Allsorts Licensing in the U.K. and Republic of Ireland; BN Licensing in Benelux, Premium Licensing in Italy and Copyrights Asia in Japan.
“We’ve had huge success with “Cuphead” in the U.S. market and that demand has only grown, and we see great opportunity to expand overseas,” says Carla Silva, vice president and general manager, global head, licensing, King Features. “‘Cuphead’ is an international hit and features a unique art style that resonates with fans across the globe. By appointing these new agents, we’ll really be able to tap into the game’s significant fan base and we can’t wait to continue to build out the franchise.”
The new agencies will build upon a licensing program that includes apparel, accessories, home décor and more in the U.S.
“Cuphead” the video game is produced by Studio MDHR. A New DLC pack, named “Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course,” is scheduled to be released in 2019.
