Corus Entertainment is planning to launch TV Everywhere apps for its kids' channels Treehouse, YTV and Teletoon.

The TV Everywhere apps will be available to subscribers of the linear services in Canada on both iOS and Android devices, giving kids and families access to hundreds of hours of programming that they can view, download and live stream.

Among the series included in the apps will be "Dora and Friends," "Mike the Knight," "SpongeBob Square Pants" and "Adventure Time."

The preschool Treehouse app will launch in spring 2015 as the first phase of the rollout, with YTV and Teletoon apps launching soon after. The Teletoon app will also be offered in French.

“As part of Corus’ expanding digital content strategy, these apps will offer viewers an opportunity to sample shows and engage with new content on their portable devices,” says Colin Bohm, vice president, television head, Corus Kids. “These apps will give our Corus Kids subscribers the flexibility to enjoy some of their favorite shows whether they’re at home or on the go.”
