NORTH AMERICA–Blizzard Entertainment is gearing up to kick off its annual BlizzCon fan convention this weekend, Nov. 3-4, at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif.

This year’s two-day event will feature a score of Blizzard gaming news; events and panels featuring players’ favorite community personalities; eSports tournaments surrounding “World of Warcraft,” “Overwatch,” “StarCraft II,” “Heroes of the Storm” and “Hearthstone”; contests spotlighting cosplayers; a performance by Muse and more.

The community fan event will also play host to an array of on-site activations. At the Darkmoon Faire, fans will be able to trade pins, adopt plush pets, meet their favorite authors and more. Meanwhile, at the Hearthstone Tavern attendees can pull up a chair, grab a drink and meet up with fellow attendees. The BlizzCon Gear Store will also feature a score of commemorative merchandise.

BlizzCon will also see several activities like giveaways, claw machines, photo opportunities and more from partners like Asus, Corsair, HP, Nvidia, Nzxt, Razer and T-Mobile.

“The community is the heart of Blizzard’s games, and BlizzConn is our favorite way to connect directly with our players and geek out over the things we’re passionate about,” says Mike Morhaime, chief executive officer and co-founder, Blizzard Entertainment. “We’ve worked hard to make this our biggest and best BlizzCon yet, and we’re looking forward to seeing everyone this Friday.”

Tickets for BlizzCon 2017 are sold out; however, Blizzard will have a virtual ticket that will allow fans to stream a variety of panels, contests, interviews, the closing ceremony and more from their computers.
