NORTH AMERICA–Blizzard Entertainment has revealed details for this year’s BlizzCon fan convention, which will take place at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif., Nov. 2-3.
This year’s two-day event will feature a score of Blizzard gaming news; events and panels featuring players’ favorite community personalities; eSports tournaments surrounding “World of Warcraft,” “Overwatch,” “StarCraft II,” “Heroes of the Storm” and “Hearthstone”; contests spotlighting cosplayers; guest performances; and more.
In addition to the main event, Blizzard will host an exclusive dinner to benefit CHOC Children’s, a pediatric health system in Southern California, on Nov. 1. Attendees will have the chance to meet Blizzard developers, artists and community representatives. Tickets for the benefit dinner will be available on May 16.
Meanwhile, eSports fans will also have the opportunity
“BlizzCon is our favorite time of the year at Blizzard,” says Mike Morhaime, chief executive officer and co-founder, Blizzard Entertainment. “It’s our chance to meet and really get to know the people behind the terrain commanders, demon hunters and Tracer mains we play with every day–to share our passion for games and eSports with each other, and celebrate what being in the Blizzard community is all about. We can’t wait to see everyone at the show.”
Tickets for BlizzCon 2018 will be available in two waves, with the first taking place May 9 and the second on May 12.
