5-Minute Crafts and “Angry Birds” have announced a partnership. Rovio Entertainment has integrated 5-Minute Crafts branded levels within “Angry Birds Friends” for a week-long special in-game event through Oct. 2. Fans can dive into 5-Minute Crafts within actual game levels and encounter in-game prompts, guiding them to watch videos on YouTube.

“This collaboration combines physical creativity with gaming in the most exhilarating way,” says Patrik Wilkens, vice president, operations, TheSoul Publishing. “We’re crafting a bridge between the tactile joys of DIY and the dynamic world of ‘Angry Birds.’ We eagerly anticipate the wave of creativity our global audience will bring.”

TheSoul and Rovio are initiating the #AngryCraftsChallenge, which encourages fans to create real-life “Angry Birds” levels using household items.

The best entries will win prizes, including plushies and in-game goodies. Entries close Sept. 30, with winners unveiled Oct. 4.
