2K Play, Nick Partners for New Dora Video Games

In celebration of Dora the Explorer's 10th birthday, Nickelodeon Consumer Products has teamed up with 2K Play for a number of video games.

The video games will include Dora's Big Birthday Adventure (August) for Wii, Nintendo DS and PlayStation 2 and Dora's Cooking Club (November) for Nintendo DS. Meanwhile, Dora's cousin Diego will appear in Go, Diego, Go! Mega Bloks Build & Rescue (November) for Nintendo DS.

"Partnering with 2K Play allows us to introduce fun and engaging video games that mirror the educational and problem-solving elements that can be found on both Dora the Explorer and Go, Diego, Go!," says Shaan Kandawalla, vice president of digital retail games for Nickelodeon. "As we commemorate Dora's 10th anniversary, we believe the new lineup will help young fans celebrate this milestone."
