Animaccord Turns the Page on “Masha and the Bear” Deal in New Zealand

“Masha and the Bear” licensed books will be launched in early 2021 across the country.

Animaccord has announced its first publishing deal in New Zealand for the “Masha and the Bear” animated property.

The company has teamed up with Beyond Reality Media NZ to distribute the licensed picture books across Aotearoa starting Q1 2021. With an initial run of Two Titles, BRM will be distributing these through its sales department online as well as at local book distributors.

“Masha and the Bear” cartoon is widely represented in the country with Netflix broadcasting seasons one and two as well as spin-offs “Masha's Spooky Stories” and “Masha's Tales.” Moreover, TVNZ acquired the rights on all seasons of the series, including episodes of new season five episodes, along with rights on spin-offs “Masha's Spooky Stories” and “Masha's Tales.”
