YouTube edutainer Blippi has teamed with Jazwares to create a line of educational toys inspired by the character’s web series.
Jazwares was named Blippi's master toy licensor late last year. This new line marks the debut of products from the partnership. Blippi Toys includes figures, vehicles, plush and educational sets. The line is now available at Walmart and Amazon in the U.S. Fans in the U.K. can also find the products at Smyths, Tesco, Asda, Amazon, Argos and The Entertainer. At launch, Blippi Toys’ full line will include:
Blippi surprise boxes - learning numbers and learning colors;
Blippi mini vehicles;
Blippi ball pit surprise;
My buddy Blippi; and
Be like Blippi role play.
"This toy line is my next step in educating kids around the world," says Stevin John, creator, Blippi. "Combined with my YouTube videos, this line is perfect for children and parents everywhere who love to learn and play. I'm excited to have Jazwares bring the joy of learning to life through these amazing toys."
Blippi is one of the biggest stars on YouTube. The children's entertainment character has amassed more than 12 billion views and 20 million subscribers globally since debuting in 2014. For licensing, Blippi has seen significant success with partners such as Printers Row Publishing Group.
"Blippi has quickly become among the most loved preschool brands, with unique and innovative content that naturally translates into playful and educational products," adds Laura Zebersky, chief commercial officer, Jazwares. "The initial response to Blippi Toys has been amazing, and we are excited to work with Stevin to grow the Blippi brand and bring the joy of learning to families around the world."
