Aimed at 8- to 11-year-olds, the Bugsted brand will include a TV mini-series (13 x 1), a game app for iOS and Android devices and collectible action figures.
The brand centers on a group of moon bugs that have evolved from a bug that stowed away on the Apollo 11 mission.
Simba Toys, a division of the Simba Dickie Group, is now planning a range of toys that will be rolled out at the same time as the mini-series and game app this September.
