UglyDolls Sews Up Homewares Partner

The plush line is expanding into animated content and more with new appointments.

NORTH AMERICA–STX Entertainment has tapped Jay Franco for an assortment of UglyDolls-branded home products.

White Space Entertainment, UglyDolls’ global master licensing agent, brokered the deal.

Jay Franco will now produce a score of home products for the stuffed toy brand including bedding, bath products, pillows, beach merchandise and more.

“We are working with the best-of-the-best licensees to develop the UglyDolls brand, and Jay Franco certainly fits the bill in the home category,” says Stephanie Sperber, chief executive officer, White Space. “Their creativity and incredible product design fits well with the cool, hip Uglydoll aesthetic, and their retail presence and relationships will ensure consumers will have access to their incredible products.”

Additionally, the UglyDolls franchise is set to debut an animated feature next year.
