The Op (usaopoly) has appointed Jodi Wasserman vice president of marketing. Wasserman has over 20 years of experience creating marketing campaigns around the globe, who recently moved from sports games and collectibles company, UpperDeck after 16 years.

Prior to joining The Op’s team, Wasserman played an instrumental role in growing Upperdeck’s reach across Europe and China, establishing partnerships, negotiating sponsorship deals and creating engaging activations at various Global Games, international tours and regional events. She also spearheaded new marketing initiatives with key licensors and partners such as Activision Blizzard, Marvel, Tim Hortons, NHL, AEW, Walmart, The LeBron James Family Foundation, TGR Foundation and more.

With plans to help expand the brand from a solely board-game focus into a family entertainment company, Wasserman is looking forward to working alongside chief executive officer, Dane Chapin, to assist in expanding not only the brand’s product lines, but also how and where consumers engage with its products. She will also help to grow its consumer brands globally through a variety of channels, including mass, hobby, direct-to-consumer and digital.
