Spin Master Adds DWA, Pokémon to Ionix

Spin Master is added characters from DreamWorks Animation’s upcoming film How to Train Your Dragon 2 and the world of Pokémon to its Ionix construction system.

The Spin Master Ionix toy brand, which launched with its original property Tenkai Knights, include bricks that shapeshift into characters.

The How to Train Your Dragon line will hit retail in May, with the Pokémon range following in October.

“Dragons and Pokémon represents the greatest children’s entertainment platforms in the world. Spin Master is thrilled to welcome great characters like Hiccup, Toothless, Pikachu and Squirtle to the Ionix family,” says James Knight, vice president, global construction, Spin Master. “We’re extremely excited for these toys to hit the shelves and for kids to see the shapeshifting magic for themselves.”
