Bandai Namco and Uniqlo, among other companies, will highlight the classic ‘80s brands in new products and campaigns.
GLOBAL–Rubik’s has entered into a number of brand extensions, ranging from consumer products to advertising campaigns, to continue to expand its presence worldwide.
First, the company teamed up with Apple to feature their latest creative. The global advertising campaign featured Rubik’s to highlight the ease of multi-tasking with the latest Apple update. Rubik’s also joined forces with France’s QSR chain Quick to launch a promotional campaign to coincide with the back-to-school season.
Next, Rubik’s and Bandai Namco joined forces to pay homage to both Pac-Man and the Rubik’s Cube. Both brands will celebrate the partnership with a series of product mash-ups. A limited edition Pac-Man-branded Rubik’s Cube is also scheduled for retail release.
Rubik’s also partnered with the Paris-based concept shop Colette for a kids’ apparel collection, which was created by Fabric Flavours.
Finally, Rubik’s and Uniqlo have teamed up for a range of men’s t-shirts, which will be available in March 2018.
