According to Kids Insights’ 2020 global report for toys and games, licensed properties still reign supreme in the toys and games sector.

Demand for licensed properties continues to grow, driven by a significant increase in gaming and YouTube properties, with the likes of “Minecraft,” “Fortnite,” “Sonic,” Ryan’s World and JoJo Siwa all performing strongly over the last 12 months.

Other trends like sustainability, increased spending rates and more were highlighted in the report.
