Ravensburger announced the addition of three licensed properties to its puzzle line-up: Keith Haring, Animal Planet and Highlights Magazine.

According to the Guinness Book of World Records, Ravensburger’s Keith Haring: Double Retrospect is the world’s largest puzzle with more than 32,000 pieces that is  17 x 6 feet and weighs 42 pounds.

The Animal Planet product assortment includes 10 original puzzle designs ranging from 100 to 1,000 pieces, including Discover & Learn concepts (puzzle with fact booklet) and special packaging to enhance the distinctive offerings. In addition, four new Highlights brand puzzles join the line-up this year, expanding the selection that debuted last fall.

“We’re thrilled with our 2011 puzzle collection, filled with creative new products including our puzzlepyramid collection, the gigantic and awe-inspiring Keith Haring puzzle, the beautiful Animal Planet assortment and much more,” says Thomas Kaeppler, chief executive officer at Ravensburger. “At Ravensburger, we value the importance of family time and puzzle projects provide a unique opportunity for parents and children to work and play together as they create something wonderful.”
