"Monopoly Millionaires' Club," the upcoming new game show based on the Hasbro board game, has launched a multi-state companion lottery scratch ticket program.

The lottery tickets will launch in 14 states later this month in advance of the game show's debut March 28 and 29.

Created by Scientific Games under license from Hasbro, the scratch lottery program will give players the chance to win a trip for two to Las Vegas, Nev., and participate in the show.

"Monopoly Millionaires' Club" will be co-hosted by comedian and TV star Billy Gardell ("Mike & Molly" and You, Me and Dupree) and Todd Newton ("Family Game Night").

Scientific Games Productions recently kicked off production and takes place on a custom-built stage that will feature Gardell atop an LED floor displaying the iconic Monopoly board. Winners from the participating state lotteries make up the audience. In the first week of production, the show has already had two $1 million winners and awarded a total of $3.5 million in cash and prizes.

"This lottery scratch game captures the essence and fun of the 'Monopoly Millionaires' Club ' game show that has already started production in Las Vegas," says Steve Saferin, president, properties group and chief creative officer, Scientific Games. "The studio audience's reaction to the show has been wildly enthusiastic, and there's no better way to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Monopoly than to give fans of the game yet another way to play."
