Hasbro has announced and launched the pre-order for “Monopoly: Barbie Edition,” hot on the heels of the “Barbie” movie release, which took in $337 million worldwide on its opening weekend.

Monopoly players can imagine slipping into pink Barbie shoes as they follow their dreams, fully immersed in Barbie’s world with up to six Barbie-inspired tokens in her signature pink color, then travelling the board and purchasing famous locations in the Barbie dream world – eventually building their own DreamHouses.

The “Monopoly: Barbie Edition” game is available to pre-order on Amazon and will be available to purchase at most major retailers from Oct. 1.

Ahead of the movie’s release, License Global highlighted some of the creative extensions across Mattel’s 100 partnerships.

Matt Proulx, vice president, LBE, Hasbro, and David Hutchinson, chief executive officer, The Path Entertainment Group, will take the stage for the day 1 Keynote at Brand Licensing Europe, which is entitled “Passing GO: Bringing the world’s #1 board game to life.”
