The game takes players back to Birmingham, U.K., during the roaring ‘20s. Players take on one of the various gang factions fighting to rule the criminal underworld. “Obtaining the worldwide board game licensing rights of ‘Peaky Blinders’ is a logical next step in our strategy to develop more international games that can be launched in every country,” says Geert Kruijswijk, director business development and partnerships, Just Media Group. “We have developed a unique gameplay that will entertain every game enthusiast and fan of the series.”
The “Peaky Blinders” TV series follows a group of soldiers coming back home after World War I as they get caught up in the criminal underworld and vie for control of their hometown. Endemol Shine has previously licensed the show for products such as virtual reality video games.
