Hot Wheels has partnered with skate, surf and snow lifestyle brand, Volcom, and Grammy-nominated hip-hop duo, Run The Jewels (RTJ). This partnership connects generations of fans, fusing the creative energies of three distinctive brands to create a one-of-a-kind collection that celebrates innovation, style and the spirit of individuality.

The Hot Wheels x Volcom x Run The Jewels collaboration showcases a range of products, from limited-edition apparel to a custom-designed Hot Wheels die-cast vehicle.

Fans of Hot Wheels, Volcom and RTJ can expect a fusion of bold graphics, vivid colors and attention to detail that pay homage to the heritage of Hot Wheels while reflecting Volcom’s iconic street-inspired style and RTJ’s intense musical aura.

The collection celebrates the collaborators’ history that started in 2015 when Run The Jewels and Volcom first partnered on a product capsule released exclusively at Zumiez. The Zumiez drop would be the first of many collaborations and pop-up events between RTJ and Volcom, including pop-up experiences in New York, Austin, Barcelona, Sydney and London. Volcom has also worked closely with the group to hone their signature style of wearing black denim while performing at festivals and television appearances.

RTJ also has a special connection with Hot Wheels. KillerMike of RTJ is a self-professed “massive fan” of the collectibles and is known to give one to every kid who gets a haircut at SWAG Shop, his signature barber shop with three locations in Atlanta.

The collection features an array of T-shirts, hoodies and a patchwork jacket showcasing Killer Mike’s classic Buick Grand National and Hot Wheels artwork. Hot Wheels also created a special edition, collector die-cast Buick Grand National, inspired by Killer Mike’s classic car, embellished with Volcom’s iconic graphic stones in hot pink.

The Hot Wheels x Volcom x Run The Jewels collaboration is set to launch on Sept. 22 and will be available for purchase through Volcom retailers, Creations.Mattel.com and Volcom.com.
