Hasbro Teams for Transfomers Toys

Dickie Toys to create new vehicle-based line of playthings.

Hasbro has tapped Dickie Toys, part of the Simba Dickie Group, to develop a new range of vehicle toys for Transformers brand.

Dickie Toys will develop and market a wide product range of various vehicles including R/C, die-cast, light-and-sound vehicles and themed play sets.

The new toy range will be launched at the 2016 International Toy Fair in Nuremberg.

“The Transformers franchise continues to thrive with its fun-filled storylines featuring the battle between the Autobots and Decepticons characters, specifically with the latest animated series, 'Transfomers: Robots in Disguise,'" says Tom Warner, senior vice president, Transformers, Hasbro. "We’re excited to celebrate the vehicle forms of our beloved characters through this collaboration with Dickie Toys, putting fans in the drivers’ seat to recreate scenes from the animation.”
