"Let's Play: You Decide" is the latest Amazon Alexa voice game to be released by digital agency FX Digital to the U.S. market. Zodiak Kids, part of Banijay, has collaborated with FX Digital to turn the series into an interactive voice experience. It has already launched in the U.K.
The game invites children on an adventure through a series of interactive and educational activities.
The application, known as a voice skill, allows users to participate in three adventures voiced by "Let's Play" presenters Sidney Sloane and Rebecca Keatley. Alexa will transport the user to decide which role they want to play by saying, "Alexa, Let's Play: You Decide."
In the first free installment, "Emergency Pack," players can step into a police officer's shoes, doctor or firefighter and experience a day-in-the-life of the essential workers.
The game encourages children to be active, improve their listening skills, and teaches them the importance of helping those in need.
In the U.S., "Let's Play: You Decide" also uses in-skill purchasing, allowing parents to buy expansion packs. The Explorer Pack and the History Pack, which contain new and exciting adventures, will be available at launch.
The "Let's Play: You Decide" app is free in now both the U.K. and U.S. (except for in-skill Purchasing game packs) and can be activated on any Alexa device or Alexa mobile application available on iOS and Android.
