BWI, Golden Bear Unveil New Toy Brand
Brands with Influence and Golden Bear have joined forces for a new series of collectible toys, play sets and accessories, called Bush Baby World.

Bush Baby World will debut at the London Toy Fair in January before launching in fall 2017.

Brands with Influence and Golden Bear have joined forces for a new series of collectible toys, play sets and accessories, called Bush Baby World.

Under the terms of the agreement, Golden Bear will produce and distribute the toys globally while BWI will represent for all associated licensing, including movie and TV rights.

“We were first introduced to the concept and technology by the inventor, designer and IP owner, Andrew Coates and immediately fell in love with the characters,” says Martin Lowde, managing director, BWI. “They really come to life in your hand, and encourage great play and nurturing for children. Golden Bear is a great partner to be working with. Their experience with innovative plush and bringing new concepts to market made them ideal.”

The agreement was signed at Brand Licensing Europe earlier this month. The new toys will make their official debut at London Toy Fair 2017, Jan. 24-26, before hitting the market in fall 2017.

“We’re thrilled to be adding Bush Baby World to our growing portfolio,” says Katherine Pierce, senior licensing and marketing manager, Golden Bear. “As the U.K.’s No. 1 manufacturer of plush as well as licensed plush, the Bush Baby World toy line is a natural fit with our expertise. We are looking forward to the launch at London Toy Fair 2017 with great excitement, where the cute new collectable toy range will be showcased.”
