Barbie Celebrates Fashion Icon, Claudia Schiffer, with New Doll

Barbie is honoring supermodel, Claudia Schiffer with a Barbie doll in her likeness, featuring a recreation of her runway moment from the 1994 Fall/Winter Atelier Versace show – complete with a replica of the cerulean floor-length Versace gown.

Claudia Schiffer has walked for virtually every luxury fashion label, graced the cover of Vogue U.S. 16 times and has been a source of fashion inspiration for audiences around the world.

As what Mattel calls “An icon in the world of fashion,” Claudia’s signature style is still embraced today in the world of fashion – as even this summer, “Barbie’s” own Margot Robbie was seen dressed in an all-pink 1990s Chanel blazer originally worn by Claudia Schiffer on her global press tour.
