Following a string of new licensing programs, Aurora World has brought a new digital edge to “YooHoo to the Rescue,” with mobile apps due to launch throughout 2019.
The “YooHoo to the Rescue” animated series will be brought to life across a variety of platforms with a host of new partners. With Samsung’s augmented reality stickers and the first “YooHoo & Friends Coloring Book” already in place, the colorful lineup of characters is also being unleashed in the upcoming “YooHoo Puzzle Pop” app, developed by Aurora World and Powercore on Google Play.
Applications due for release across the year also include “YooHoo Minigames” by Dev Game, character collection apps by Tap Tap and digital wallpapers, icon packs and themes by Butterfly-effected GmbH.
“With its striking design, colorful characters and engaging storylines, ‘YooHoo to the Rescue’ is the perfect inspiration for a variety of apps focused on ‘YooHoo’ and his friends and adventures,” says Jay Noh, director, content business, Aurora World. “We expect many more ‘YooHoo’ apps to follow the success of the three already available.”
As “YooHoo to the Rescue” expands across Netflix and via TV Channels in Poland, Italy, Russia and Portugal, the licensing initiatives are also expanding, with a new live show in China, renewed sponsorship at U.K.’s Chessington World of Adventures theme park, John Lewis and WHSmith. Panini Sticker will launch and a line of new plush based on the series, hitting shelves soon.
