Superfly has announced the fall opening of The Seinfeld Experience, a new attraction in New York City that provides a behind-the-scenes look at the ‘90s sitcom.
The attraction allows fans to immerse themselves in the world that Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David created through an exploration of classic show moments and characters. It will feature interactive exhibits that include costumes, memorabilia, new content, set recreations and props from the show. Superfly’s attraction will also feature a retail store that offers exclusive merchandise specific to the show and the exhibit.
"Because I am Seinfeld, for a long time I was the only person to actually have the Seinfeld experience,” says Jerry Seinfeld. “Now, these crazy Superfly people are going to make it so lots of people can interact with our silly ‘90s TV show. All I can say is, in the general context of the world we live in, this now seems completely normal."
This July marks "Seinfeld's" 30th anniversary since debuting in 1989. Since ending its nine-year run on NBC in 1998, the show has been heralded as one of the best shows ever on television by publications such as TV Guide. In the licensing world, the series has seen success with deals for consumer products including slot machines and Funko figures.
The Seinfeld Experience will launch in New York early next year.
