Creator Grant Orchard and BBC Studios have previewed a new season of “Hey Duggee” to fans at the grand opening of the “Designing Duggee” exhibit at the London Design Museum.
Running from Oct. 25-28, the new exhibit celebrates the creation and care that goes into each episode of the six-time BAFTA award-winning preschool series “Hey Duggee” on CBeebies.
Created by Grant Orchard and Studio AKA, “Hey Duggee” season one is consistently ranked as one of CBeebies most-watched shows, with one billion minutes of YouTube view time and fans in more than 150 countries.
“We’re thrilled to be working with the Design Museum on such a fun, exciting and unique exhibition,” says Laura Conner, global brand manager, children’s, BBC Studios. “‘Hey Duggee’ has become a much-loved brand, and this fantastic collaboration will allow fans both little and big to explore the design, animation and production process behind Duggee and the squirrels.”
The exhibit, which allows fans to explore the story, sketches and character styling behind the show, will return Dec. 28 through Jan. 6 with a workshop and even more chances for kids to get inspired.
