TV-Loonland’s multiplatform CGI series “The Owl,” with 52 x 1-minute slots, has been signed by BBC for CBBC. The BBC has the exclusive UK TV rights on the series, a co-production by TV-Loonland, Paris based Studio Hari and French broadcaster France 3. Already broadcast by France 3, “The Owl” was the second most watched children’s show in July, according to TV-Loonland. The series features a rather grouchy owl and a forest filled with sadistic animals. The Owl’s mission in life is to try and stay in one piece.
