The series follows the adventures of Saitama, a young man that becomes a hero for fun and discovers that he can beat his enemies with a single punch.
“We are very excited to bring this second season to European and Middle East audiences," says Aâdil Tayouga, executive manager, VIZ Media Europe. “Our infrastructure across the region will ensure that fans will be able to catch every episode localized for their countries and across multimedia platforms with a variety of licensed goods.”
According to a company statement, the manga launched in 2016 and has sold more than 1.6 million copies to date; the series has 20 million views across European platforms and the first season is the top anime title on Netflix across EMEA. New episodes areset to premiere in Japan in April 2019.
