‘Mr. Bean’ Fetes 30 Years with New Merch

“Mr. Bean” kicks off his 30th anniversary with a raft of new licensed products.

Endemol Shine Group has announced new “Mr. Bean” products in celebration of his 30th anniversary.

In partnership with Corgi (Hornby), a special version of the “Mr. Bean” mini will be released in 2020. Leading gift wholesaler Puckator has added a new range of “Mr. Bean” products to its tourist market collection for the 30th anniversary.

In the U.S., Olaes Enterprises will release a new line of t-shirts, and Surreal Entertainment will develop a range of gifting and merchandise for both the U.S. and Canada through agent Sharpe.

Coin manufacturer CIT will create collectible coins, available worldwide, and Ty will produce a special-edition of “Mr. Bean’s” companion Teddy to mark the occasion. Plush and toy manufacturer 8th Wonder will create plushies for launch next year.

Big Balloon has created Dutch language joke books and comic books for the Benelux region, while Globetrade Deluco will continue to supply Teddy plush to Kruidvad; both deals were brokered by J&M Brands.

This year will also see the launch of the new “Mr. Bean” webstore, and Pogo has a range of “Mr. Bean” print-on-demand products available across all Amazon marketplaces, eBay and Walmart.
