BBC Studios has partnered with the Design Museum to honor Studio AKA’s award-winning series “Hey Duggee” with a special exhibition.
The Designing Hey Duggee exhibition will run from the Oct. 25-28 and provide a glimpse at never-before-seen artwork from the show. Fans will be able to see early sketches from the series, and an exclusive look inside the design, animation and production process behind the show.
“As a child I used to go to the Commonwealth Institute and be inspired by what I saw there, so it's such an honor to have my early sketches, designs and concepts on display at what has now become the Design Museum,” says Grant Orchard, creator, Hey Duggee, Studio AKA. “The exhibition offers our creative fans a chance to explore the design secrets behind ‘Hey Duggee’’s success, and I hope that it will inspire children to pick up a pencil and get sketching, too!”
“Hey Duggee” is a well-worn animated series that has previously been licensed for products such as sleepwear and wooden toys.
