Spike Launches Bellator MMA App

Spike TV has launched a new second-screen app for Bellator MMA that lets viewers become the fourth judge in the mixed martial arts competition.

Spike TV has partnered with Omnigon Communications to launch a new second-screen app for its series “Bellator MMA Championship Tournaments” that let’s viewers become the fourth judge in the mixed martial arts competition.

The “Bellator MMA” app, available now in the Apple iTunes Store, works in concert with the live Spike broadcast to give fans real-time fight data that they can then use to score rounds as the fourth judge. While the results will not factor in the actual judges' decisions, the fans’ opinion will be announced during the broadcast.

The app also features historical statistics for every fighter, pre-fight fan picks, social network integration, exclusive videos and fighter biographies.
