Southern Illinois Renews IMG College Partnership

NORTH AMERICA–Southern Illinois University has extended its partnership with IMG College Licensing, which will continue to manage the school’s trademark licensing program for five years.

Since 2012, IMG College Licensing has increased the number of retailers carrying Salukis merchandise by 84 percent.

Through the partnership, SIU will have continued to have access to IMG College’s brand protection, management and development services via a comprehensive trademark licensing program.

Since its appointment in 1985, IMG College Licensing has significantly increased product selection and retail distribution of Saluki merchandise, and since 2012, the number of retailers carrying SIU merchandise has increased 84 percent.

In addition, SIU’s top-selling products include t-shirts, fleece items, men’s fashion apparel and performance wear.

SIU is among four other institutions in the state of Illinois that are also represented by IMG College Licensing, including Eastern Illinois University, Northwestern University, Illinois State University and University of Illinois.
