Porsche to Vroom with Puma

Porsche Motorsport has inked a multiyear deal with Puma to become the brand's exclusive technical partner for fireproof racing apparel and accessories and to develop a range of replica garments for the consumer market.

Under the terms of the agreement, Puma will outfit all 24 Porsche Works drivers, juniors and young professionals, as well as all pit crews of the Porsche factory teams with cutting-edge motorsport clothing.

The deal extends to the Formula E team and all factory GT racing activities.

The Puma logo will appear on all racing garments and racecars of the Porsche factory drivers and pit crews. "Puma has a long and successful tradition in motorsport,” says Fritz Enzinger, vice president, Porsche Motorsport. “We are pleased to welcome Puma as a new partner of the Porsche Motorsport Teams. The innovation and creativity of Puma, one of the world's leading sports lifestyle companies, fits in with our team and our brand."

Meanwhile, Puma and its subsidiary Branded Sports Merchandising have secured the rights to sell, market and develop a range of replica and fanwear items for Porsche Motorsport. Key pieces will include apparel, footwear, headwear, accessories and bags aimed at Porsche Motorsport fans and the sport’s enthusiasts.
