Majestic Athletic, makers of the official on-field uniforms worn by Major League Baseball players, is planning Jersey Day celebrations in every Major League city across the U.S.

Organized in partnership with MLB, its 30 clubs and the Major League Baseball Players Association, Jersey Day offers baseball fans a chance to celebrate their favorite teams and players by donning their official jerseys.

"Majestic has done an outstanding job of helping to create unique days for baseball fans everywhere to show their team pride," says Noah Garden, executive vice president, business, Major League Baseball. "Jersey Day is a fun concept for baseball fans to show their fandom at school, work, the ballpark, and anywhere else they go."

Club-centric celebrations are scheduled across the country at every Major League ballpark over the course of two consecutive Fridays–May 22 and May 29.

Additionally, through its license with the MLBPA, Majestic is teaming with 30 All-Star players to represent each MLB club and help fans celebrate their teams. Players supporting Jersey Day include Bryce Harper, Matt Harvey, Felix Hernandez, David Ortiz, Yasiel Puig, and Giancarlo Stanton.

"Jersey Day will provide baseball fans everywhere–and of all ages–an opportunity to demonstrate their passion for the game of baseball, by proudly wearing the jersey of their favorite player," says Evan Kaplan, director, licensing and business development, MLBPA. "The Major League Baseball Players Association is proud of its longstanding relationship with Majestic, and we are excited to have recruited some of the sport's greatest players to help promote Jersey Day."
