The U.K.’s governing body for polo will expand into licensing through casual apparel and sportswear.

The Hurlingham Polo Association has unveiled its plans to develop a new sporting and lifestyle brand with the launch of a new product collection and through licensing the HPA brand globally.

First, HPA has partnered with U.K.-based King of Games, who will initially launch an on/off field collection that includes playing jerseys and products for sporting casuals and training.

The lifestyle collection is scheduled to launch in early 2017 with technical performance casual wear, smart casual and tailored clothing.

Additional sporting and lifestyle products will be developed in the coming months and years to continue to build the brand globally.

Meanwhile, as the organization responsible for the English national polo team, HPA has unveiled a new England kit (jersey) that features a new design and fabrics.

“We are really excited to reveal the new playing kit; we have put a lot of effort into researching how the quality of the playing kit can be improved and are really pleased with how the shirts have turned out,” says Oliver Hughes, deputy chief executive, HPA.
