Firefly to Rep Legends of Lucha Libre

GLOBAL–Masked Republic has signed on Firefly Brand Management to represent the cultural icons and superstars of the Legends of Lucha Libre wrestling brand.

The licensing agent will also take on luchadores including former WWE World Champion Rey Mysterio, among others, for licensing.

Through the terms of the agreement, Firefly will develop a diverse worldwide licensing program for the wrestling brand as well as its roster of Mexican wrestling stars, known as luchadores, including former WWE World Champion Rey Mysterio as well as Blue Demon Jr., Solar, Tinieblas, Jr., Konnan and more.

“Lucha libre has become one of the most popular forms of sports entertainment on the planet. Lucha libre events currently boast fan bases in territories such as Mexico, the U.S., Canada, Latin America, France, Germany and

South East Asia. Furthermore, Masked Republic’s lineup of their Legends of Lucha Libre have a collective of 14.3 million Facebook followers, 2.4 million Twitter followers and 1.2 million Instagram followers.
