The destination, which was developed in a partnership between the National Basketball Association and Walt Disney Imagineering, will offer guests an immersive experience centered around professional basketball.
NBA Experience will feature a look at the NBA Draft with a photo op that recreates the environment of the draft stage. Visitors can track and improve their jump shots in a recreated NBA Combine challenge, enjoy a photo op of a slam dunk, take ball-handling tests, walk through the legacy of the WNBA and access a team locker room that displays current player stats.
Visitors can also participate in NBA and WNBA trivia against 25 competitors, watch two 180-degree cinematic presentations that showcase the in-arena experience moments before the start of the game, hear unique stories from players’ perspectives, enjoy an interactive multi-screen module where they can watch replay clips from NBA games and shop at a retail store with NBA-themed merchandise designed by Disney.
