Amy Kule, executive producer, parade and fireworks, and group vice president, annual events and partnership marketing, Macy’s, will leave the company this March.

Kule is leaving the company to expand her professional footprint as well as leave the organization to the next generation; however, her plans have not yet been announced.

Kule has been part of Macy’s team for 21 years and has been instrumental in the growth of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, which celebrated its 90th anniversary in 2016.

During her tenure, she was also responsible for a host of initiatives including developing partnership marketing efforts; introducing companies and celebrities so they may join forces; defining year-long, multi-faceted marketing campaigns for all types of business; producing thousands of branded events in-store and out; and producing two of the biggest live entertainment programs in the U.S.

“I am so grateful to have been part of a company where I was able to flourish professionally and find a way to blend my business acumen with my creative spirit at each level of my career,” says Kule. “Although I was working for a multi-billion dollar organization, I’ve always felt my work best described as entrepreneurial.”

Additionally, Kule will be speaking at the 2017 NYC Summit, March 2-3, in New York City.
