NORTH AMERICA–Funko has opened its first retail store, The Funko HQ, and new headquarters in Everett, Wash.

The 17,000-square-foot retail space will feature immersive worlds inspired by Marvel, DC Comics, Star Wars, Harry Potter and other fandoms, as well as host of licensed collectible products–including Funko Pop! vinyl figures, Dorbz, plush, handbags, backpacks, fashion accessories and more. Jumbo-sized Funko figures will also be on-site, providing a host of photo opportunities for visitors.

The Funko HQ store will also include a newly designed Pop! Factory, which will allow guests to build their own custom Pop! vinyl figure, as well as Funko University, which will be dedicated to teaching and mentoring students in fields such as drawing, sculpting and toy design.

“We set out to create a pop-culture hub in Everett that not only will support our future growth but that will inspire our team and our amazing Funko fans, and that’s exactly what we’ve accomplished today,” says Brian Mariotti, chief executive officer, Funko. “I’m thrilled to finally unveil this project, which is a love letter to the unique phenomenon that is the fandom of Funko.”

Additionally, the company will host a grand opening event this Saturday, which will kick off with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 9:30 a.m. and continue throughout the day with a street fair featuring live performances, games, exclusive giveaways, food trucks and special guest appearances.
