Amazon's first physical U.K. store will be an Amazon Fresh supermarket and not a high-tech automated Go store, Charged Retail uncovered.

An earlier report from the Mail on Sunday suggested that a new Amazon Go store in Ealing, London, would be opening this week. The store, branded Amazon Fresh, will be 2,500 sq. ft. – which is smaller than Amazon Fresh stores in the US – states further clarification from Amazon.

Unlike its WholeFoods and Amazon Go arms, each store stocks big brands like Kelloggs and Coca-Cola and its brands including Happy Belly and Cursive wine, along with select organic items from WholeFoods.

The store will be powered by Amazon's innovative Just Walk Out Technology, which utilises a number of different technologies to allow customers to enter with a credit card, grab what they need and go.

Amazon has also noted to License Global it is planning to roll out more stores in the Greater London area in the future.
