Independent licensing agency TPA has been appointed by literary agency Aitken Alexander Associates to represent Bob, the street cat that changed the life of a homeless busker, for licensing in EMEA.

After he tended and befriended an injured cat, James Bowen wrote about how that cat changed his life in the book A Street Cat Named Bob. The book has now sold more than 1 million copies in the U.K. and topped the charts in many of the 30 other countries where it has been released.

TPA will initially focus on giftware, housewares, t-shirts, calendars, plush, mobile phone accessories and posters. A comprehensive style guide is now in development with first product are expected to hit retail in time for the holidays.
