The Denver-based firm Gumshoe Girls is Simon & Schuster’s first officially licensed textile and apparel licensee and is using its limited yardage of deadstock Nancy Drew cotton poplin fabric to assist in slowing the spread of COVID-19 with new masks.

“What better use of remnants from the popular kitschy fabric adorned with beloved images from the vintage book cover artwork and originally used for pajamas, sleep shorts and handbags,” says Stacey Johnson, owner, Gumshoe Girls.  “We saved every scrap from our original run of fabric, and now have the perfect opportunity to put these pieces to good use.”

Nancy Drew face masks are now available on the Gumshoe Girls Etsy store at www.etsy.com/shop/gumshoegirls.
