The magazine will be a women's weekly that features pop music, one of the U.K.'s most vibrant music genres. It will feature international music stars from across the industry and give readers behind-the-scenes access to the hit TV show, with fashion and beauty features, celebrity news and gossip.
Launching this September to coincide with the beginning of season 7, the magazine will be exclusively available at Tesco for the launch period and thereafter more widely on sale nationwide.
"The X Factor is the No. 1 pop music brand in the U.K.," says Dominic Burns, senior vice president of licensing in the U.K. for FME. "There is a gap in the market for a magazine that celebrates the world of pop and provides an in-depth insight into the world of The X Factor. We're looking forward to its launch and delivering something new to fans."
