EUROPE–Scholastic and Rocket Licensing have revealed that the classic brand
Horrible Histories
is being developed into a feature film.
The film, titled
Horrible Histories: The Movie
, is being produced by U.K. distribution, sales and production company Altitude Film Entertainment with Citrus Films, and will go into production next year. It is also expected to kick off a
Horrible Histories
film franchise.
The upcoming film, which will be set in Roman Britain, is due for release in 2019 to coincide with the brand’s 25th anniversary, which will be celebrated with a robust licensing program spanning apparel, games, puzzles, homewares and more.
