Egmont to Publish LEGO, DC Books

Publishing program will kick off in time for the new LEGO Batman Movie.

Warner Bros. Consumer Products, on behalf of DC Entertainment, has tapped Egmont Publishing for new titles based on LEGO DC Super Heroes and The LEGO Batman Movie.

To kick off the partnership, Egmont will publish three LEGO DC books in the U.K. this October. The three titles will include two activity books with LEGO minifigures (one Superman and one Batman), as well as a sticker book with activities.

Egmont will also publish four movie tie-in books based on The LEGO Batman Movie, next spring including an activity book with an exclusive minifigure, a choose-your-hero activity book, an activity diary and a sticker book with activities.

Additionally, The LEGO Batman Movie annual will be published in fall 2017 and will also come with a LEGO minifigure.

“We are really excited to be publishing LEGO DC titles in the U.K.,” says John Packard, publisher, Egmont. “The LEGO Movie was a huge hit, and I’m sure The LEGO Batman Movie will be too. This movie range is the perfect way to launch our LEGO DC program.”
